I find myself watching a show on the free-to-air commercial channels and the first ad at every break is for Lyka dog food. I think if they swapped the muscled white guy with the Asian woman they might get an inkling of how retrograde the representation is. Suffice to say, I’m not buying any of it.

Ugh! I’m trying to watch #MadeInKorea on Disney Plus Australia, but I can’t find an original audio setting. American film noir-esque accents are the default and it’s adversely affecting my enjoyment. I want to hear the original voices and read English subtitles. Anyone have any advice. Tried Help.

Things I like about the Australian version of Portrait Artist of the Year: all the hosts and judges. I love the embedded First Nations perspective Miranda Tapsell brings & Abdul Abdullah’s technical questions from the perspective of a working artist. There’s plenty of nerdery & history chat. Love.

I keep seeing The People vs #Robodebt popping up on my tv homepage. I want to watch it—I almost feel obliged—but I don’t know if I can. I experienced the horror of it and don’t really want to think about that time and the ongoing injustice any more.

I missed the beginning of #AmazingRaceAU but I’m slowly catching up on it. Ayesha’s excitement over cleaning and picking stems off raisins is giving me life. Also, I love how much everyone loves Uzbekistan.
