I think this demonstrates how VITAL the writing + voice performances are to Blood Omen: while the game has been surprisingly enjoyable and quirky, the atmosphere and actor delivery seal the deal. By itself an in-fight spell is pretty cool, but the narration from Templeman SELLS it
