In my dream I'm out in the woods at an event & I look up at the stars. I see the constellations all clearly marked & I laugh, realizing I'm in a dream so I reach up and adjust the Milky Way so it's accurate. I look up in the grandstands & a soap opera actress from the 80s nods at me approvingly.

I was supposed to have a Boxing Day lunch but I never got organized beyond buying the beef. Cooked it in sous vide for 24 hrs instead and made mash, broccoli and Yorkshire pudding. I have tons of leftovers and a very happy belly.

I’m going to have to get up off the couch at some point today but I’ve got a warm blanket, a good book, comfy pillows and an overdeveloped sense of entitlement to slovenliness.

Had intended to do a proper Boxing Day lunch with a roast beef and yorkshire puddings and persimmon cake. Never quite got organized beyond thinking about it and buying the beef, which has been sitting in my fridge for 4 days. I'll just cook it in sous vide for 24-30 hours for tomorrow instead.

Coworker Bribery for my team tomorrow. Cinnamon sweet rolls with crystallized ginger and pecans. Still trying to get the hang of this video thing. Like the part where you film the whole process instead of remembering after you’ve pulled them out of the oven.

Ugly pic but accurate. Had some turkey in the freezer leftover from Thanksgiving and a couple of apples on the counter so I made stew. Had some buckwheat flour in the pantry and and originally considered pancakes but settled on waffles instead. Good easy dinner for a chilly night to

I had to do some work in the garage after work tonight. Took less time than I anticipated so I took the change to tet my lights that haven't been turned on in a few years. Tomorrow is my holiday card photo. Would have done it tonight but the camera batteries were dead.
