Fascism always says the people calling for sanity and peace are the killers, but are the first to roll around in the bloody coverage, of the people who gave them the mildest of criticism. Especially when it takes twisting a tragic family crime to somehow fit their programming.

The difference is clear, they claim people who are advocating for mental health treatment, medical care, and fighting gun violence are the ones doing the Stochastic Terrorism.

I went for a mid century modern color feel, but the pea green and grey didn't have enough contrast, so I used duplicate stitch with the dark green and teal.

My kid is diagnosed. I'm still diagnosed with "hyper mobility syndrome" and several other things that only make sense in the context of the genetic disorder my offspring got from me. It's very tiring.

Totally agree! Church's should be taxed. However, I think it should also be mentioned that voters wanted tax dollars for things like that, and the government disagreed, letting food go bad rather than give it out. The founders had a catch phrase about that behavior.

It's a thing. There's some that will call it a shrug and some will argue about the proper definition of shrug, and I've seen at least one call it a bed sweater, because you can sleep in it without it bunching up.

This hit me in the x-files nostalgia. That suit is very Dana Scully.

I too have returned to baking. There's a whole drama about how we were getting the almost decent store bought bread, but now there's more competition. I don't have hand woven towels. I do have hand knit towels, but that's not as good for bread proofing.

Right? I'm so tired of explaining to people that a real threat is really distracting.

I recently made the Frankenstein monster and bride Gnomes in my picture. I posted about it if you want more information.

How is it violent rhetoric to call a fascist a fascist, but not to call everyone but if mild opposition to fascism terrorists and include the threat of government harassment and imprisonment (something only a fascist would do)?

I don't know that I have a favorite, but almost started laughing hysterically when I had a new therapist do the movie therapist mannerisms. Practiced concerned and interested look, leaning over a legal note pad, putting the pen to the lips.

could you try the smaller hook on the bodice, but leave the skirt more full?

It's full of whimsy, and knitting these guys is addicting. The yarn is all cascade 220, fingering weight.

I didn't use a pattern for either of them. I used a construction method often used by Sarah Schira, with some playing around for the top shaping of both gnomes. If you get her book The Gnomes of Grimblewood, you should be able to figure it out after a couple gnomes. I highly recommend this book

I still haven't figured out why the new anti-vax appeal is to ask for more shots. Let's triple the MMR Injections because someone who can't say acetaminophen said so.

Occasionally a teacher would tell us to never take work home with us as grownups. I asked why they assigned homework. They usually gave a pitiful shrug. I didn't go to a school that provided a free period and study hall.
