Police arrested volunteers for feeding hungry people in Kansas City after 13 years of doing it without incident. Nearby businesses complained, blamed immigrants, and threatened ICE. Two volunteers were charged with trespassing. Kansas City Food Not Bombs feeds 50–100 people weekly. More cruelty 🤬

Reorganizing my entire space this week.
All of the closets are on the floors.
I don't use plastic at all, and I am grateful. I have cloth and mdf organizers.
Plastic deteriorates and cracks over time. We've been sold a lie about its durability. Five years and it's garbage.

I'm tired of being part of someone else's sandwich and wondering if Canada will take me except I have trauma from the time below zero cold almost killed me.
Sometimes I get triggered by a mere 31 degree day, and it was never like this before I was hospitalized.

What my mother told me about Nazism in America was that some people were on the wrong side during WW II but that there were also willfully stupid people who would bitch every day "when is this war going to be over", like it was an annoyance at worst.
