I would wonder if maybe your sense of cops is colored by propaganda and perhaps you don’t actually know what cops are, why they are there, and how they interact with community members.

It takes A LOT of strength to ask other people for help. I don’t know why people choose to spit in the eye of folks asking for help. No one is having a fun time telling other people they are in desperate need and constantly having to prove themselves.

In absolutely horrible news I learned this morning that Hany was killed in an air strike- he was driving people from the North to the South when it happened. This is one of the last messages he sent me 💔

He leaves behind 8 kids, he was only 48 and he was very kind.

I’m in touch with Sondos’ husband, Mohammed, off app. Mohammed has been dealing with recovery from major heart surgery for quite a long time.

It costs about $50 a week for his medication, and that is on top of food and necessities for his wife and children.
