Today, for the first time in nearly two years, I started up my PC in what was once my "office", where I used to write. (The amount of dust I cleaned out of the computer before doing so was humbling.)
I don't know if any new novels are forthcoming, but it feels like a step in the right direction.

I really do feel bad for my hubby... Nearly every time he sends me stuff on social media, it's AI garbage, and he can't tell until I point it out to him. I'm a buzzkill, but I own it, at least.

I've made a conscious decision to block accounts that feature AI content (particularly when said content is promoted as being real). It's the best way I can think of to save myself from enduring that *ick* in the back of my mind when I see that garbage.
