I am the rare librarian who does not set reading goals.
It creates anxiety & something "to do." It robs me of the joy of reading.
My 2026 "reading goal" is to read what I want & to enjoy the act of reading.

Don't delegate the reading of your contracts to any one or anything. Read the whole fucking thing. If you have questions or don't understand something, this is what your agent or lawyer is for. And fucking YES get a lawyer, one that has some experience with contracts in the relevant field.
