I automatically refollowed a lot of people because I already knew them from "the other place", other SM, and/or real life. If I haven't refollowed you, yet, it's because I haven't yet gotten my bearings. Nothing personal, and if my feed is boring, I won't take it personally if you unfollow me!✌️
Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel. #moviesky #filmsky

Mixed answer. I adored the audiobook and the series - both brought the characters to life. But the written book sometimes fell flat for me!

#Bookvember Historicak Fiction with a SciFi twist. This was an excellent short story and has far fewer ratings and reviews than her fulllength books do.

#Bookvember Historical fiction is my favorite. It helps put a face on events, frequently gives us someone more identifiable than the distant actual participants, and often leads to further reading or research into the topics and people. Kate Quinn was yesterday. Today we have Liz Gilbert and NYC.

Based on my reading history you'd think it's Romance but it's really Historical Fic. Here's 1 I love. It's hard to choose a "favorite" because I ❤️ many of hers, I've read 5 rated them all 5🌟 This 1 is a bit different than the others because it focuses on a female Soviet sniper rather than the US/UK.

Not sure, to tell the truth.
Younger me saw things, as I've aged I've seen things, but at the moment I can't focus enough to name specifics. Maybe I'll come back to this later.

So many. Literally most. If it was about me, why read it? I like seeing newer and different things.
Something minor like a different country or socioeconomic class or something major like a male main character or a bio/autobio of someone totally different. Not listing a book.

I have 2 Klune TBRs so I can't claim them. I'll go with World War Z by Max Brooks who is dyslexic.
I read it around the same time I saw the movie, which I liked, but I prefer the book. I didn't think about it at the time but MB's dx might play into his presenting it as an "oral history".

Nonfiction/memoir/autobio James McBride's The Color of Water. He interspersed his story & his mother's & made them both very readable. Fiction/romance Brittainy Cherry's The Mixtape. A beautiful story about loss & finding love. She just told it in a lovely way with great characters.

#Bookvember As much as a mess as any heteronormative, yet a possibly neurodivergent MC, unrequited love, close-proximity, crush on best friend, other romance I've read. And that's what I liked. Disaster, yet loveable.

#Bookvember Maybe because the first 7 focused on childhood reads, the first that came to mind was Margaret/Judy Blume. JB captured so much preteen/teen uncertainty in her writing it's uncanny. It's also crazy it took so long to become a film yet I still haven't watched- afraid it won't measure up!

A bit late, this is for Friday.

Not monitored at all. I clearly remember having a convo about Gone With The Wind in 3rd or 4th grade. Also 'borrowed' mom's John Jakes "The Bastard" series & her Harlequins. I don't think I was scarred as much as pre-destined to read the "Outlander" series & fanfic🙃

I feel like I back to Little House, because Garth Willams captured the characters and events so thoroughly.
If not those, my illustrated Little Women still has my heart 🩷

Never really had one
But I adored reading and acting this one out for my own daughter! The only words are Hug, Bobo, and Mama 🩷🐒

Not a series but I liked dinosaurs, ancient Egypt, and nature.

Probably LIW because her stories captured my imagination & were early "chapter books". I had other favorites b4 but they were more the Little Golden Book variety. If not LIW then "Carolyn Keene" because I loved & inhaled the Nancy Drew books but I was slightly older when I started those.

Probably these. My favorite teacher had us read TLTW&TW together +1 or 2 more then I got the box set for 🎄 & continued.

Period blood has long been thought of as ‘stinky and useless’, but startups are exploring using the fluid to test for a wide range of health conditions – including difficult-to-diagnose endometriosis
