Every thanksgiving I think about how when I was living in the UK for my MA we had class on thanksgiving and one of my profs brought in what were essentially granola bars and gave them to the Americans and was like “idk what you guys eat but happy thanksgiving” and it makes me laugh every time

We need to start calling their bluff.
We need to make it so the ultra wealthy either contribute enough to be a positive part of society, or be globally shunned and unable to extract further funds from us.
