Did my congresswoman’s office keep me on hold for 14 minutes on two separate calls and hang up twice, but then magically answer when I called from my burner number on the first try??? 🙂‍↕️

I’m a part time librarian and I just want to echo what I’ve seen other librarians say recently: there is a HUGE uptick in requests for social justice, climate justice, abolition, history, etc books and I just want to say nobody is giving up the fight. If anything people are fighting harder #library

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Almost like- and hear me out- society disables folks to such a degree it literally takes YEARS off their life. 🙃

Don’t underestimate the impact you’re making when you choose to wear a mask.

You’re protecting your health & the health of your community. You’re helping ease the burden on our healthcare system.

You’re standing in solidarity with disabled people & telling the government that no one is expendable

Making all kinds of new friends over on that other color app. I shared a video of my steamed egg results, since the users over there made it look so tempting, and am getting such kind and supportive feedback. Like, I have never been this hyped up on US social media in my 20+ years being on it. 🫶🫶🫶

Trying to be more conscious about my consuming, so I’m going to a locally owned and operated brewery to drown my sorrows. Is the healthiest coping option available? No. But I do like trying to pair less healthy habits with healthier ones. #halfcredit #drinklocal

Grateful to the women who read to me. My mother, my grandmothers, my teachers. Some of my best memories are centered around reading.

Want to raise radical children? #RaiseReaders Modeling reading for pleasure and reading aloud to children are small, simple acts of rebellion.
Whatever happens, never forget: READING FOR PLEASURE has the biggest positive impact of any factor on children's life chances. So always make time to share books with kids, and help them find books to love. Make reading central to everything you do. It will change their lives forever!

Downloaded my nearly six gigs of data from FB and Insta (a few days shy of 20 year’s and more than a decade’s worth respectively) and made the move to permanently delete my accounts. Takes a month before it’s official, but got all the meta apps deleted. #tiktokban #dataprotest
