Mike Johnson refuses to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva — because her vote could force the House to release the Epstein Files. The GOP is doing everything they can to keep Trump's Epstein cover-up going. #releasethefiles

Pretty sure this is accurate footage of my hubbie taking a three mile walk before work in dc with his boss and coworkers, (yes like the Barbie movie CEOs)

He didn’t bring daytime clothes to his work trip. He only has his work clothes. DC is weird.

I’m not a fan of this summer cold I caught. I managed a walk in the midday heat yesterday and snapped this pic to remind me of the flowers outside. As it will be triple digits next week, 95 is going to feel relatively cool soon.

The White House has ordered the US Dept. of Justice to prioritize denaturalization: voiding the citizenship of US citizens.

Who will it denaturalize? "Any" case that it "determines to be sufficiently important".

Point 10 leaves the criteria opaque and arbitrary.

Fixed the thing that has bothered me about the Mona Lisa since forever. Did you know she used to have eyebrows? Not sure if this is what they looked like but it was worth it to see what she might have looked like before.

I love the variety of fliers they have here. Especially the one with an easy to scan and sign QR code to reach out to local reps to encourage Congress to stand up for Science.

Spread the word! Print out this flyer and post it up in your area today! www.standupforscience.net/microflyer11

Almost 10 years ago, Kyle Chayka saw the writing on the wall. Now that we have ai added to the mix, how do we help individuals be critical of what they're reading and seeing online? Most towns and suburbs don't even have a local news source or paper. Should we bring back public debate tours?

When you feel yourself becoming complacent or surrendering to hopelessness or apathy, remember that everything that exists today exists because someone(s) dreamt it up and decided to put in the work to make it a reality. We can create new ways of doing things, new ways of being, new worlds.
