I really think that whoever figures out how to add accommodations for neurodivergence in elder care is going to be set up for life. There's basically nothing there right now but once the millennials and Zs start aging it's gonna be Necessary

My grandma always passed her cognitive tests with flying colors and then would leave the burner on all night. It drove me crazy until I remembered that people with ADHD are incredibly good at snapping into Test Mode and that elder care has no controls for neurodivergence.

Some things have actually gotten worse!

I just did a back to back rewatch of The Newsroom and Studio 60 and I've felt The West Wing looming in the shadows ever since

Anyway we dumped out of plans and turned around but by that time we had to drive in horrible conditions for another 15-20 minutes to get out of the snow band. Now we're on the slushy interstate, not home free but at least we have visibility

At one point we tried to drive up a tiny lil hill and there was just...no motion. People in pickup trucks passing us on this two lane road. Once we got up the hill into Vriesland, we couldn't even see the road.
