The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

It may sound metaphysical but the main political battle we need to win is the war on despair. Since 2001 people have been more terrified every year. Nihilism and lack of hope have ground people's souls to dust. We need to overcome alienation by looking forward to the future again
