My first thought when he ordered a restart to the underage investigation was ‘this ties the files up because they are part of an ongoing’.

This makes sense to me.
I’ll keep pushing this line of analysis because I’m increasingly convinced the clearest path out of this mess is for Dems to adopt a relentless anti-corruption, anti-inequality, anti-oligarchy, pro-democracy platform. The Dem leadership hasn’t realized it yet, but they’re now a reform party.

I’m giving $100 a week to my local food bank until the greedy WH funds SNAP again and starts paying fed workers, both of which they could do without any changes to whether illegal immigrants have health care.

As ever, the loss of something good and useful for Americans is framed as a loss for Democrats — in the mass media, everything becomes just a political football to be kicked back and forth instead of examined for its impact on everyday citizens regardless of political party.

Christoph Adam’s says in “The evolution of biological information” that the interactions of information is the foundation of biology. It is a very demanding book that gets deep into statistics (I’m still trying to get through it), but this theme is showing up more and more these days.
