I wouldn't be surprised if they start using these lists to put people on the no-fly lists, audits by the IRS, etc. as retribution. Once a government starts making lists of its citizens like this, the abuses will inevitably follow.

In response to the Renee Good killing, Dems propose ICE reforms that would have done nothing to prevent the Renee Good killing

If you've never dealt with tear gas / pepper spray here are a few key things to keep in mind:

-it's not just the immediate contact, these chemicals get into your clothes, hair, the towel you try to clean off with, etc etc

-get everything contaminated away ASAP

-water water water and more water

In a sign of how explosive ICE knew this secret memo would be, one whistleblower says he was only allowed to read the memo and was barred from taking written notes, and warned that employees had been punished for disagreeing.

At least one ICE instructor resigned rather than teach the illegal memo!

Look. I don’t trust the Dems, or any party, to give us liberation.

But right now, we have to use every lever we can to stop ICE from surveilling snd terrorizing our communities.

If enough people speak out right now we have a real shot at getting House Dems to vote en masse against ICE funding

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

it's never the crazy weird conspiracy theory weapons. they are poisoning you with toxins they are well-documented to have. they are beating you with ordinary sticks and shooting you with ordinary guns

the only conspiracy is how they gained legal immunity to do this
My group was able to recover a spent canister from a green smoke grenade in Minneapolis. We now confirm with physical evidence that it was a green signaling grenade.

The Insurrection Act in no way whatsoever suspends, closes, or bypasses the courts. It is not a suspension of habeas corpus. It is not martial law. It does not authorize rule by decree. It allows using troops for law enforcement but that's it. It's not an instant dictatorship switch.
