Took in a big parcel and my dog ran out to see what was happening, sniffing the delivery driver's leg. He was looking down at Olly and said "And how are you doing?" to which I replied, "Nosy." Meaning Olly was being nosy but now he's left I realise he may have thought I meant he was nosy for asking.

Went to see Lurker. I saw Archie Madekwe in a play years ago so I get the magnetism but that psychology is so alien to me. My teeth were on edge the entire film. Horrible. There was a lot of talk around the power dynamics in Pillion but this was much much darker.

Just finished watching "Wake Up Dead Man" and I enjoyed it enough. Everyone on top form. Still got a crush on Josh O'Connor etc etc. But with that "New York" setting, it's really just an episode of Midsummer Murders isn't it? Missed seeing it in the cinema like the other ones though.

Not watched Strictly this year but I caught 10 minutes earlier and it was nice (and surprising) to see a guy with actual body hair on display. Thought waxing and a laser were pre requisites for primetime. One thing though. What that back be doing?

I still don't understand what Avatar is. From what I gather, these big blue cunts are just minding their own business on their planet and humans take over their minds or something and make them do a war. Like if I took over the hedgehogs and pigeons in my garden and made them fight each other.

This is literally the only thing I've kept up with since the pandemic. Everything else comes and goes in peaks and troughs but I just can't quit that caked lil bird. I'd love a good alternative. Ideally that'd be just chatting to some nice Japanese boys here in 🏴. But that's not gonna happen sigh

Glad I managed to see this before we got further chapters in what a man-child little cunt Quentin is. It is still one of my favourite films and there's a reason it's the only QT film I've seen multiple times. Hint, it's got vastly more to do with Uma/Daryl/Lucy than that melted welly looking mf
Obviously I look at it through a different lens now, my god the performances, and 'get it' more as well. But with QT using Fortnite to conclude this 20 odd year old affair, maybe my 11 year old self was intended audience all along. I hope that he at least did right by Uma this time.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair was nothing I hadn't seen before. It was great seeing it in a cinema again but I was hoping for something more. It hit home how much it really is all about the acting (and the action). But at what cost? The Fortnite of it all cheapened the experience though.

Just collected a Vinted parcel from the locker and despite it having the word "fragile" written on it in felt tip, it sounds decidedly crunchy when it should defo not be crunchy. Why use bubble wrap or even cardboard to keep something rigid when an old Lidl carrier bag and hope will do?

I've got a knitted wool Santa hat that I bring out at this time of year to wear when it's cold outside. Whilst she did do'd it for me, and it was my favourite gig this year, I don't think I'll be going to FKA Twigs' London show next year. Too big. Don't think I'd be close enough to get shots like this anyway.

This feels illegal. Like I've committed a robbery. Had my eye on it for a while and I got 30% off in their Black Philip sale, used my member credit and a free $25 which A24 gave me for my birthday. I basically paid $7 for a $60 book. You can't get memberships here anymore but I'm a founding member 😎

Been watching a lot of those "vocal teacher reacts" videos recently because I like learning about the technicalities of how some folk can do what they do with their voice. I just wish one would do a video on Elisabeth Fraser. But I think it's because they're cowards. They don't know how she does it.
