I haven’t seen the sun in 3 weeks. This year has been the densest and most persistent tule fog I’ve seen experienced. 400 miles of thick fog for weeks with no end in sight.
I might go up to Yosemite for an afternoon just to get some vitamin D 😬

Smoked salmon. Quick brined, lightly smoked with a sweet wood blend to 130F internal. My first attempt at smoking fish and I’m really pleased with the results.

I love technology sometimes… mostly when I want to use my smoker but I don’t want to sit outside in freezing weather tending wood/coals.

It’s eerie, there’s been almost no one out this morning. I saw 2 people on my normal 4 mile walk, usually I see the same 15-20 people. It’s kinda nice.
