I'm a former USAID press officer. I get it - trying to convince people we need to send money to other countries isn't easy. But it helps us in the long-run. It helps stop the spread of disease, grow economies so countries eventually don't need to rely on our aid, counters terrorism . . .

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.
