Robert MacFarlane's "Is a River Alive?" is excellent, and this line is relatable content (not for actual river boating, because haha. No. but just being outdoors...being Not At Home):

(Or hoar frost. Tbh I have read the diff a million times but I can't tell when I see it. It was foggy but it has more to do with how things freeze. Either way, it's all beautiful and why I love winter running, and why you're getting 4 pics instead of 1 today).

Funny little weirdos* are back in packs doing their hilarious head bobbing. Highly entertaining and the show is free at Dow's lake for the next couple of weeks. ;) Come for the head bobs, stay for the mallard quacks and chitter-chatter and geese flybys.
