November is here, and aside from turning 40 this month (😬) I have my final three events of a very busy year. I'll be speaking on Tudor Propaganda in London, the March to Bosworth in Lichfield, and Richard III and Princes in the Tower in Bosworth. Tickets here: NathenAmin.com

And I’ve stopped 7 wars. I’m very good at that. But don’t eat the pastrami. It’s very fatty. I think the UN does a very bad job. One time I threw a football 800 yards. I wasn’t even trying. The UN does a terrific job. Do you know the song Itsy Bitsy Spider? I wrote it. I’ve met Jesus. Beetlejuice!

The queen hastily added an “s” to the birth announcement to tell of a princess instead of prince, the king cancelled his celebratory tournament, & Henry VIII’s quest for an heir continued

No one could predict that this baby would go on to become the most powerful Tudor monarch 👑

Carlos Alcaraz & Jannik Sinner become the first pair of men to win all 4 Grand Slams for 2 straight years since 2007.

Roger Federer & Rafa Nadal: 2006 - 2007.

Jannik Sinner & Carlos Alcaraz: 2024 - 2025.

That’s 8 consecutive Grand Slam titles won between them.

What a rivalry.

Yes!!! Carlitos for the final❤️🎾
Alcaraz d. Djokovic 6-4 7-6 6-2

Carlos reaches his 2nd US Open final.

0 sets dropped along the way.

This is his first win against Novak on a hard court.

7 Grand Slam finals at 22 years old.

✅3rd Slam final of 2025

He’s never been more consistent.

Playing outrageous tennis.

We take it for granted because of how ageless Djokovic seems, but it's absolutely ludicrous that in the year he's turned 38 he's got to the semis of all four slams. And how regularly and often routinely he beats the best players in the world other than Sinner and Alcaraz.

Happy September!

This is the calendar miniature for Sept from an elaborate 15th-century manuscript, Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry. The ms was made for John, Duke of Berry & younger brother of King Charles V of France, around 1415

If you look closely, there's a surprise 🔎
