Getting targeted by fascists has not inspired me to fight back. If anything I’ve wanted to run away and hide. That’s also, obviously, part of their strategy. There’s a delicate balance between against / towards in this sense. To ignore fascists is not the same as denying fascism.

Fascists operate through exhaustion. We have to help each other find ways to write and think against fascist currents, and not towards them. We have to protect each other and ourselves from getting absorbed into their logic.
