In grad school I worked at a yarn store near here and sometimes art students would come in high on shrooms so they could look at all the colors. Got a couple bounced checks, too. Many such examples of very high crime in this area.

There’s an anecdote I heard from someone who was on his CEA that early in his presidency Clinton got in trouble for telling a journalist in an off-hand remark that Greenspan was doing a good job, bc central bank independence means he can’t comment on what the Fed is doing period.
