I read many stories of children forced to estrange their parents. It's sad that the child's perspective is rarely covered.
Too many parents treat even their young adult children as property to control rather than independent responsible individuals that parents have a duty to nurture.

We all agree that to fix society we need less ethics and fewer highly educated experts, and more instant gratification and dead-end jobs.
I mean, in what sense will you be able to say the college “survived”?

There’s often the argument against increased regulation that the power could be abused. We have seen power that does not exist be abused. We shouldn’t gimp legal activity to prevent illegal activity that will happen regardless.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
