opened up the new google app, antigravity. Opened a repo, started typing up a design prompt that goes along with some spec work i'm thinking about.
Before i'm even done typing the prompt, the app decides to reload, and all of the prompt i -was- writing then disappears.

Spent some time tonight building out a whole pile of WFC tile systems that are actually just prose in json blobs with properties that serve as sentences that themselves interlink into paragraphs. Hadn’t thought of using this technique before, but it works!

spent the morning and some of the afternoon building Strudel support into my game as a player-run thing that players can swap and share and play spatially in the world (go to a club -> club has a soundtrack) and most of it is procedural!

If you come at me with your hot AI takes that really just decry angst with the system and the abuses of corporations in that system I appreciate your fervent anger and support it but understanding the enemy in its own terms is useful research whether or not you agree with LLMs being good or bad.
