Just one man who battles Trump/MAGA because he believes in democracy, the rule of law, and equal opportunity and justice for all.
Am I the only one who sees a problem with raising taxes by $166B on the backs of low/middle income consumers, while at the same time cutting government spending and proposing extending tax cuts on billionaires and corporations?

Robbing the poor to pay the rich. Oh that's right, they support DJT.

My take on what’s REALLY happening on these tariffs: He’s totally folding.

He lost all his leverage. Americans are furious about the economy and blame his tariffs. He’s capitulating on China, he threw our allies under the bus… he knows he and his party are solely to blame.

😂
I don't see that happening...

I don't expect the cardinals to vote for him, but if he were ever elected pope that would be the ultimate corruption of faith by power, and the ultimate hypocrisy by the practitioners of faith. And Graham, what the hell happened to you ? If I believed in it I would say you've surely sold your soul.
Despite seeing several people I totally trust say this was real I still felt I had to verify it with my own eyes. And having done so I still can't believe it's real.

Isn’t it telling that the only major country in the world that DID NOT have any tariffs placed in their goods was Putin’s Russia?

And the baldfaced lies that come from not only the orange gibbon but all his spokespeople and sycophants - I have been on this planet for going on 8 decades and have lived under 14 presidents, and I've never seen anything like that either. "Tariffs are not taxes on the American people" unbelievable.
CNBC reacts right after Trump's "Liberation Day" tariff announcement: "And the market reaction after hours -- I’ve never seen anything like it. This -- I think, fair to say -- is worse than the worst-case scenario of the tariffs that many in the market expected the president to impose."

These days, healthcare is not even at the top of the list of things to worry about in America. Tarriffs/shortages/price increases, being grabbed off the streets by ICE with no due process, losing our social security, the end of democracy, to name just a few other little things to worries about.

Trump's tariffs are genius. They'll make strawberries, tomatoes and everything else so expensive people will forget how expensive eggs are!

It's also a stab in the back to the voters of North Carolina that Tillis wouldn't show up to a well-publicized and well-attended town hall in Cary to which he was invited, last week.
Pete Hegseth is a walking national security disaster. We all saw it coming from miles away, Thom Tillis included.

The fact that Tillis didn’t have the backbone to do what’s right and stop Hegseth’s nomination is a stab in the back to the military families of our state. #ncpol

This week, a history teacher in Idaho, Sarah Inama, went viral after it was reported that she defied her school’s directive to remove an “Everyone Is Welcome” sign from her classroom.

I’ll give you one guess as to what it is about this sign that is “controversial”:

If only they worshipped the first amendment as highly as the second one.
Anything that criticizes Trump should be criminalized according to him. This is the operating principle of fascism!
Trump: "These newspapers are really no different than a highly paid political operative. And it has to stop. It has to be illegal ... it just cannot be legal."

This is really what the whole GOP BS is about. "Fixing" the deficit by letting the filthy rich pay even less in taxes, and removing regulations that protect the public from various kinds of dangerous and destructive corporate practices.

Many Canadians view Donald Trump’s ranting about annexation as a possible prelude to a real war.

“It’s insane that we’re having to have this conversation. But the Republicans do not have the courage to stand up to Trump."
What If Trump is serious about annexing Canada?
Don't expect Pete Hegseth to stand in his way.
