Also, re:bike parking.
Cuz #BikeToSkate is alive and well in Ottawa. I had to kick a bunch of snow away from these (bad) racks to lock up.

Today was pretty much a perfect winter day, complete with Digby hellos!

Well, if the first two pick ups of the year for Doug's new waste collectors are any indication, I think Ontario residents will be emailing the company regularly to complain about bins in the middle of the sidewalk, or missing.

As I thought, if you wanna cross Golden at this crosswalk, you're gonna need hipwaders.

It's +5° on my deck thermometer. I just chipped up the ice on my front walk and a neighbour's. It came up satisfyingly easy, so if you have something you're responsible to clear, I might suggest doing it now. A nice little low impact workout!

Also, the homeowner at 1786 Scott feels it's appropriate to put their driveway snow in the bike lane and sidewalk, rather than their own front yard.
This is the 3rd time I've seen this happen in the past 2 weeks. Something tells me these BMW driving jerks didn't like the street redesign. #Autowa
