As a low woodwind player, sitting in front of percussion or brass was always good for a little hearing loss.

I found out this evening that a fellow music festival volunteer passed away this week. She was my age or younger, and was an absolute bright light. I looked forward to seeing her every summer.

Went for a little stroll on my lunch to see the progress at Richmond/Golden. Seems like yet another project for which no one thought about where water pools. Yet another pedestrian crossing that will be treacherous in bad weather.

I just broke a saucer from the old Grabba Jabba in Bedford NS that I've had for ~30 years.
Making it worse, it was one of the only 2 small plates I own, and I used it all the time.
Not a good start to my week.
