She/her. Looks like she’d know where the Parmesan cheese is.
I have seen sheep that produce less…

I call this one “tummy on feet” (would be tummy on legs except, well).
December 3, 2025 at 1:43 PM
You say that like it would be a problem rather than a bonus feature. 😂

What an absolutely beautiful guy who, if he’s anything like mine, has a bottomless pit for a stomach.
December 3, 2025 at 4:54 AM
Oh, that’s neat!

Some of them seem fine with it, as I see videos of them paddling around in their little lifejackets all the time! I guess you have to just be really careful about getting them fully dry afterward.

That one was fantastic. I don’t mind there being a conflict that keeps a couple apart when it’s a real conflict and not a manufactured excuse for drama, like a misunderstanding they won’t just talk about and figure out already!

For which they are not fairly compensated and do not get enough cheese

I have this thing called an Inse dog vacuum and it is spectacular but you do have to physically wrestle the dog to the ground in order to use it.
December 3, 2025 at 12:13 AM
“How do you have any hair LEFT on you?” I often demand, when emptying the dog vacuum that I bought specifically for vacuuming the dogs.

But every dog owner will still make the joke about two shedding seasons, one from January to June and the other from July to December.
December 2, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Yeah. I will sometimes use a blow dryer on them which makes everybody very unhappy.
December 2, 2025 at 8:28 PM
And their buoyant butts are HILARIOUS.
December 2, 2025 at 8:28 PM
So I would say if they go swimming, dry them off as best you can afterward, use a blow dryer if you can wrestle them to the ground for long enough.
December 2, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Well, I mean, they DO get wet with no shampoo. In fact, the vet thinks maybe the reason Boydog presented with skin so dry he was scratching it open was because he went swimming and water got trapped in there and he... I don't want to say mildewed but you get the idea.
December 2, 2025 at 8:27 PM
I get that one in August and February for some reason.
December 2, 2025 at 8:25 PM
Anyway long story short there has been Bathing and I'm going to have to get out the cheese if I ever want to be forgiven for this one.

However, comma, "as rarely as possible" doesn't mean never.

And while trimming the fluffpants is fine and encouraged for preventing what one corgi owner called "a level-three poopocalypse," things do happen.
December 2, 2025 at 8:09 PM
The crinkly hairs also serve another purpose: they vibrate off dry dirt. I've seen corgis lie down for an hour and leave a corgi-sized ring of dust or sand around their spot on the floor. Thus, "as rarely as possible" can, with appropriate spot cleaning, mean literal years of a no-bath streak!
