'The findings were not surprising. In fact, they were consistent with what many colleagues have observed in their clinical practice that vaccinated mothers tend to have healthier pregnancies and infants.'

Indeed, untreated fever in pregnancy is linked to miscarriage, birth defects, and preterm birth. Unmanaged pain in pregnancy is linked to high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression which are all bad for both mom and baby.

So yes, “toughing it out” and avoiding meds in pregnancy is dangerous.

I’m only now watching longer clips of Trump’s autism disinfo presser and… it’s crazier than I realized? He was unable even to say “acetaminophen” or come up with the word “rubella”; cited his feelings as the basis for changes; and said pregs women should “tough it out,” which is actually dangerous

If you didn’t know, Mehmet Oz has a financial stake in the company iHerb which sells: folinic acid supplements (folinic acid = leucovorin)

The lies about Tylenol, autism, and this “treatment” are ALL part of their grift.

ACOG reaffirms that acetaminophen is safe for managing pain and fever during pregnancy. No reputable studies support suggestions like those in HHS’s recent announcement linking acetaminophen use in pregnancy to autism; in fact, high-quality studies show no such risk. https://bit.ly/47Wxc59

This Trump press conference is a total nightmare

Telling parents to only give measles, mumps, & rubella vaccines separately just because Trump "feels" like this is better is public health malpractice🤯

And OMFG he says "there's a rumor" that in Cuba they don't have autism & they don't use Tylenol😔

Tylenol should sue Trump for spreading conspiracy theories. The increase of the number of people with autism is mainly due to a better screening of the population and a broader definition of the autistic spectrum. It does not take a genius to understand that.

Trump will reportedly link Tylenol to autism - but many experts are sceptical
Some studies have suggested an association between the two, but experts say there is no causal relationship.

When we say the NIH is becoming politicized, this is a great example. NIH staff are not allowed to attend a scientific meeting (where they engage w/ scientists in their grant portfolios) because a deeply politicized DOJ is trying to use its power to squash even the remote appearance of dissent.

NEW: Per multiple sources, NIH staff have been told that "DOJ has advised" that they "should NOT" attend the American Public Health Association annual meeting, which is taking place in far-off, uh, Washington DC November 2-5.
