I would have hoped that by now--after 2 disastrous wars "on terror"--we would have realized that when you bomb a refugee camp to kill 1 bad guy, you end up with 100 more bad guys

Why does this happen so much?? “ENM,” “Looking for a third,” “Alternative lifestyle, looking for new partners.” Constantly. It’s just so beyond my scope of imagining for myself!! And it’s like 1/4 of the men who “like” me!!

Found out that detained immigration court is now scheduling CFI/RFI reviews on Saturdays and Sundays. Because frontline removal defense attys weren’t already burned out. This feels like a calculated move on the part of the IJs who proposed it.

I come from French and English stock, but I have to say… of all the colonizer languages, Spanish is the most beautiful to my ears and eyes.

I had several errands/commitments earlier in the day, but they’re all done, kids are at their other house, and it’s still a day off work until tomorrow. 🥹 This feels nice, if a bit lonely.
