Clouds spinning off the northern fringe of weakening Tropical Storm Juliette have made it to San Diego County. The weather service expects clouds to thicken tonight. Light showers are possible, likely less than 1/4th an inch west of the mountains. Thunderstorms also possible. #sandiegoweather #CAwx

It's sort of a cool, cool summer, so far. Through the first 1/2 of July, San Diego is running 1.3° cooler than normal. Oceanside is 0.7° below, Ramona 1.1° below. Last year, all were warmer than normal, & Ramona didn't have a single July high under 90. It's had 8 this month. #sandiegoweather #CAwx

We had tiny showers a couple of times earlier today here in inland North County, but the most recent one before 10 p.m. was the only one to produce measurable rain. It’s just 0.02 of an inch, but it’s the fourth rainy day in the last week. Not bad after our dry winter. #sandiegoweather #CAwx
