Electric cars won't fix this.
Got some coverage in Swedish news on my personal trip as co2-hunter with the personal goal set on Paris 2050. Can't get further than the 2030 goal (me 1t, state 3t) so hoping for the state to do its part now.

In relation to the carbon budgets & hence timeline for 1.5-2°C we simply don’t have the resources & labour to produce & run 33 million cars when the rest of the energy supply & demand system also needs fully decarbonising in the coming 10-20 years. Need to revisit widespread private car ownership.
