I’m watching the neighbor’s Japanese knotweed 3 doors down with trepidation and readiness to use herbicide again if necessary.

The only plant I’ve used herbicide on so far is alianthus altissima aka tree of heaven. Everyone else gets chopped, dug, smothered, starved. For tree of heaven, herbicide is truly the only way to get rid of it.

I have not yet removed any bamboo. I’ve tackled tree of heaven, oriental bittersweet, black swallowwort (an ongoing menace), lesser celandine (menace), multiflora rosa. I would watch the hell out of a bamboo removal time lapse! You’re onto something here with these show ideas.

I made a list of Native songs by Native artists on tidal. It has punk, throat singer, R&B, pop, a little bit of everything.

Related, I noticed that a bunch of the artists don't have their albums on Tidal anymore, anyone know what's up with that? Did I miss something?

I found a White Breasted Nuthatch today... and got to watch it for a good 5 minutes or more. aka... Forever in bird viewing. #birds 😂

I am pleased to report that we now have 4 types of asters volunteering in our yard! New England, frost, blue wood, and this calico aster I discovered in the back yesterday. It’s a late season pollinator paradise out there. #nativeplants
