A lot of people complain about how the 90’s Like a Dragon anime had like 15 episodes of domestic Okinawa Kiryu filler in Season 3 while they were waiting for the manga to catch up, but it’s worth sticking it out so you’ll appreciate the Saejima stuff in Season 4 better 🖊️🦑

Okay so stick with me here, but the challenge was “make Hamazaki/Nishiki work” and the solution we brainstormed on discord was “Gangster shit was Hamazaki’s exit strategy from a porn career he was aging out of, sad 1996 Nishiki recognizes him in a bar and immediately tries to pretend he doesn’t” 🖊️🦑
