As a teacher in LAUSD, I am horrified and scared about what is happening to innocent students across our city and country. I am proud our district, led by Superintendent Carvalho, is standing up for decency in the face of lies and abject cruelty. We all must protect all children.
1/Every parent, educator & advocate should be alarmed: DHS agents tried to enter 2 LA elementary schools posing as “wellness checks”—targeting children who crossed the border alone.
Superintendent Carvalho, once undocumented himself, called it out with “anger and contempt.” As he should.

Before and afters of today's yard work. Swept the patio and got the cushions set out. Weeded the turf (yes, ridiculous, I know). Now we're ready for summer!!
