Sometimes I think I’m a decent photographer and then I see pics professionals take and I’m humbled. Just got sent this one of the kid at her vball tournament this past week. It’s pretty amazing.

I’m a plant nerd. I’m going to school for horticulture. I have lots of plants. It’s always exciting when the ones I’m propagating start to grow into little baby plants. I have 12 of these Alocasia Amazonica on the go and they are looking great. So exciting. Now I just have to find homes for them

And that is a wrap on the kids highschool vball career. Finished out provincials not as well as they would have liked but they still made great strides this yr. Now it’s on to club season

Sometimes plants are just dramatic bitches. This one, is one such plant. If I look at it wrong or move it 10 cm its leaves yellow. I had the audacity to repot and give it fresh soil and 2cm more room in the new pot. It’s now slowly killing itself, everyday a few more leaves yellow.

This guy sits out on the seawall with his dog everyday. They just sit and watch the boats and people. I’m jealous. I wish I had a dog pal to do this with. Hate that landlords are allowed to control if you n have a pet or not.

Who in the know can tell me what is filming at English Bay and who is staring in the production. Not sure who thought it was a great idea to try and make Vancouver look tropical in November unless they are hoping for rainy stormy-ness

This is the closest I can get it flipped around to what I remember but it’s still not right. The way O have done it, leaves two separate “compartments” but it’s only supposed to be one, like a sack

This is the dress I am/was planning on wearing (that not me in said dress). Is this gonna be too much. If I was in TO I would say this is almost underdressed for a formal event. Since we moved to BC I have only attended cocktail events never a formal one so I have no idea how to dress for this

And yes my kids did go to 4 Cats when they were little, and yes we still display all their awesome paintings. I especially love the Marc Chagall inspired blueberry attacking the CN Tower while myself and my daughter fly through the air painting my kid did when she was 6 (now 19)

Who at city hall approved this crap. Prime location in Yaletown, so instead of using the entire space, they cut it in half and creat a triangular building that has units and balconies that are horribly shaped and likely full of useless space.
