I get that they want us ignorant, but who tf is supposed to keep anything working if everybody is stupid?
Since these will not be professional degrees they will not be eligible for federal aid or subsidies of any kind. note Education is on this list.

Like the reusable water bottle trends are grinding me down. Isn't the point to own just one... and reuse it? But if somebody want to invent a silent one that doesn't sound like we need to duck and cover every time it gets knocked over...

I love covering classes. As a senior teacher, I love meeting my future students. They may feel... less enthused about meeting me, but at least they get a preview of what they're getting.

My dog just made me take her outside so she could get a stick to bring inside to play with. She is currently playing with it right next to a basket of about 30 toys she never touches.

A reading update that nobody asked for- i love it so much but also there is a stomach churning, gross scene about every 50 pages but im so invested in Roman, Neveah, and Dante that i keep going.

Parent teacher conference day- I loved it. These are students i have worked with in some capacity for 4 years. It felt like a celebration. Also really sitting with the reality that it never felt this way when I taught middle school. I was always exhausted, treading water.
