Just a thread for all my various crafting projects. I dabble in many things such as weaving, jewelry, sewing, shoe-making, leather work, etc.
Finally finished weaving! Now to draft the pattern for the dress it's destined to be.

Took a quick detour to embroider a pocket. Not too bad for my first actual embroidered piece.

Taking a break from weaving to practice sewing. After working out a whole lot of errors on a muslin draft, I'm making my first pair of jeans!

Dammit... I'm two feet in to weaving this and I only just noticed a threading error... at this point I'm just rolling with it. It took me several days to notice, so I doubt anyone else will.

Finally finished dressing the loom with a new warp, only took me a couple weeks of slacking off... this time I'm doing a study in textures starting with some bird's eye twill.

I love warping in front of the tv, I can be productive while still watching whatever, as long as it's not the news. Gotta try to keep that mental health intact

The fiancée wanted some cute pillow covers for our couch, so I wove a pattern and made some. I miscalculated the length by a bit, though, so I almost didn't make enough >_<

I love making anything I can, so when I wanted to propose to my SO, of course I made the rings. It was my first try setting gems, and I think they turned out alright. Almost had a heart attack when I thought the cast failed. My great gma made the egg

She said yes<3

Here's the first thing I ever wove. At first, I miscalculated the sett, making it too tight on scarf one, but I kinda like the cording that resulted. I resleyed the reed for the second scarf, so it's "correct." Basic 2/2 twill.

First experiment with overshot! It turned out a bit more stretched than I would have liked, but I still think it looks neat. Pattern is the double bow knot from the brown book. #weaving #loom
