Just a thread for all my various crafting projects. I dabble in many things such as weaving, jewelry, sewing, shoe-making, leather work, etc.
Haha, I wish.... No, it's just a fine cotton. It feels nice and soft, though.

Just a little table loom couldn't hurt... but then what if you want more weaving space? Ok, get a bigger table loom, too. But what about those 8 or 12 shaft designs? Time to get a floor loom or two... wait. Where did all the space go?

It can, I just don't have one for denim, just one for shirts

Probably somewhere in the middle. I'm planning on topstitching with heavy thread, and I'm hand cranking all the thick spots because I want to protect the machine.

I did a bit of googling, and it depends. A cheap pair of jeans looks like $30-50 (not on sale), and denim fabric is $10-20/yd(no sale). I used about a yard and a half for the pieces, so with pricey cloth that breaks even, but quality may be higher. If you have fun making stuff, it may be worth it.

Ok, I lied. It was bothering me too much. Well that's why I wound extra warp, I guess. The cut off piece will be a nice finishing test, at least!
