Watched MIO CARO ASSASSINO (1972) aka My Dear Killer. A giallo! By-the-book but suspenseful mystery with some slashing. The culprit is not obvious but not shocking either. The opening murder is unique. And Salvo Randone! And George Hilton, Manuel Zarzo. Not bad, not exceptional.

Watched LA 317ÈME SECTION (1965) aka The 317th Platoon, for Bruno Cremer #BOTD. Set in 1954, Cremer and Jacques Perrin lead small combat unit in French Indochina trying to retreat and survive. Directed by Pierre Schoendoerffer, a veteran and war reporter, looks and feels authentic. Beautiful B&W.
