people with ASPD are typically suffering or end up on the proverbial bottom rung of society. and i can understand that when you grow up in a society that tells you that everything you are is evil. i've known some people with extreme self-image issues because of this, it's heartbreaking

the same applies to narcissism by the way. there is no reason to treat someone like an irredeemable demon to whom any act of social cruelty can be justified, but especially not a diagnosis of illness.
