What a day. Finally restored to wifi/television coverage (now to fight for lost days £). Upstairs having new boiler so a tonne of cascading water from roof to street. Downstairs having gardening done, hacking away a whole tree. Nonstop Southside action, kids. #GoingLikeAFair

Currently reading and it's FAB, a trait it has in common with Elaine's first two novels, which I also adored:
Author Elaine Feeney on left (blonde hair to shoulder, striped shirt, black blazer); cover of Let Me Go Mad In My Own Way to the right, mostly green with a blue horse galloping away behind white type

Filming in the NGS exhibition at the RSA, this morning early for our third Thomas Riedelsheimer film about Goldsworthy. Two rooms have only natural light. The effect of the changing light is fascinating.

Common grackle presents a gorgeous profile
#birds 🌿
Close-up portrait in profile of a metallic blue-bronze-purple bird with a bright yellow eye and large, pointy downward curved beak. The background is soft focus green leaves against a blue wall.

*sigh* Dishy Engineer Ed has to go off climbing over someone else’s roof to find the feeder box for my fibre (insert lewd feeder box joke here). He’s promising to return.

Sound up! The audiobook of Baby's Breath is now available on Audible (£0.99 if you're a member)

Also on other platforms - Apple and so on (no idea what they charge, it's an occult mystery).

Engineer Ed is here. And he’s cute. Which is unusual and not at all a bad thing.
