my take on video podcasts: if the podcasters are people who know how to be on camera, it is nice (ex. Oops All Santas! stavvy world's special). But if they don't, then it definitely doesn't help (ex. any podcast that takes place over a zoom call)

some people joke that if they acted the way kevin acted in home alone, their parents would've beat their ass. but considering kevin's abilities, wouldn't he be able to macgyver a little guillotine in the kitchen doorway or something if his parents spanked him too hard

my petty take: twin peaks profile pic, nixon pun user name, but uses "yanks" as an insult? somebody with a clear hankering for americana doth protest too much

well, now that christmas has passed, I can admit that I saw eyes wide shut last night, and I thought the piano theme they used in certain scenes that were supposed to be tense didn't quite work. Sounded like a kid idly pressing their finger on a keyboard
