Each fracked well in Colorado uses millions of gallons of freshwater, water that’s permanently polluted and lost. Let’s protect what’s left by phasing out new fracking permits by 2030. Sign the open letter of support at the link below!

💧 Fracking in Colorado consumed 113 billion gallons of water in the last decade. That's enough to supply the Denver metro region with drinking water for over 200 years.
More than ever, every drop of water matters. Test your knowledge of fracking's water cost:

🚨 Fracking is causing a pediatric health crisis. Children near drilling sites have 11-13% higher risk of preterm birth, 2-3x higher leukemia rates (ages 2-7), & increased asthma. Only 29 of 1,100+ contaminants are regulated. Our kids deserve better. #SafeAndHealthyColorado

The EPA will approve two new pesticides containing “forever chemicals” and relax a reporting rule for companies who make products with forever chemicals.

The moves come after a $60 million lobbying blitz from the forever chemical industry.

Where is the MAHA outcry?

Here is list of White House ballroom donors. Please do what you will with it.

We will be coming back to share more about the companies, as it relates to public health specifically.

The 37 ballroom donors won’t be remembered for generosity, but for funding a monument to authoritarian vanity during a shutdown, at a venue nicknamed after a sex trafficker, while Americans wonder how they’ll eat. History keeps receipts & their names aren’t coming off those walls

What do Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Comcast, Meta, and HP have in common?

They all once pledged to stop donations to anyone who tried to overturn the 2020 election.

And now they're all donors to Trump's White House ballroom. https://popular.info/p/these-corporations-stopped-worrying

NEW📝: A flood of billionaire money in elections started after the SCOTUS #CitizensUnited decision.

Since 2010, billionaire 💰💰 in elections has grown 160x, giving the wealthy huge power over policy while regular voters lose influence. 🧵1/3

👇🏾right here. We need to understand the machine behind the machine - corporate consolidation means fewer heads to knock together when out of control state power comes knocking. It means a small group of wealthy individuals doing deals with a corrupt set of leaders. Consolidation is bad for democracy.
Yesterday, a late-night show vanished with a simple directive from 2 of the largest media companies you’ve never heard of (Nexstar & Sinclair), backed by the FCC. That’s not “the market at work.” It’s concentrated corporate power cooperating with an authoritarian. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/17/b...

FCC chair Brendan Carr has already inspired widespread fear (and loathing) among media elites and free press advocates. And he’s only been in the job for two months.
