The news is extra grim today, so here's #Caturday throwback photo of an adorable calico I encountered while delivering for FedEx. Getting to make friends with random cats and dogs was probably the best perk of that job.

As requested, more Luna being Luna! Happy #Caturday, everyone!

As promised: a Luna timeline cleanser photo! She loves to sit on books.

To sweeten the deal, I promise to do a better job of posting pictures of Luna, and will post one for each new subscriber I get on Patreon. Please help Luna and I out, if you can afford to?

It snowed overnight. When I got home, Luna urgently wanted to investigate the porch. This is about as far as she made it (about a foot and a half), before deciding that warm toes are better than cold toes. #Caturday

The bots on Twitter are having a typical day...

According to some reports, more than half the accounts on that platform are bots. And it's run by a fascist. Very little of the speech that originates on that platform can be trusted.

"Don't struggle," said the #spider to the fly.
"But I have children!" cries the fly. "Who will look after them?"
"Not my problem," says the spider.
The bird #laughs, eats both of them, and flies away. #vss365

I'm a published science fiction author and I have a Patreon, and I don't talk about it nearly often enough. For the low, low price of as little as $3/month, you can read a bunch of my stories all in one place!

I'm rarely surprised, but this is a new low in ethical conduct and I new high for being blatant AF about it. This is really, really bad-- even for a shitty company like Tesla.

I don't know if Eisenhower actually said this, but I support this sentiment either way!

Going to have to add this to my books going forward!

This is all fine until the people you've blocked screenshot your tweets and post them on their social media to send harassment your way. Yes, there are also ways to get around the current block-- but Musk's Twitter shouldn't be making harassment easier.
(Context: Musk is making Twitter worse again.)

Fun story this image reminds me of: when I was in my teens living in Portland I went through a goth phase. My mom, having zero knowledge of the goth subculture and being a huge history nerd, was really excited that I was interested in the Visigoths that sacked Rome... I had to explain the difference

I give it five stars, not four. They were warned.

Hey Newsweek, the concept that a good role model 'gets married and makes lots of babies' is about 75 years out of date. Please stop publishing opinion pieces from incel creeps and do better.

If anyone's interested, here's the full opinion piece:
