Some people will literally mow dead (or dormant) grass. I have better things to do, thanks. I think you're making a good choice.

@montemader.bsky.social does a great job of covering this. This is well worth a watch.

I feel your pain. In the interest of not living in a place coated in cat hair, I vacuum fairly often-- and I still find little drifts of Luna fuzz hiding under chairs and in corners.

And if you're somewhere close to where things are happening, please do something. Whether its something small like just donating to mutual aid groups, or something larger, DO SOMETHING. Show them we won't go without a fight.

Big game studios that *very very reluctantly* allow their games to be listed on Steam, but make them an absolute nightmare to play from there, and don't make anything purchased directly from them compatible with the "Steam version," should all be hunted for sport. Change my mind.

That is one comfy-looking pup!

Oh trust me, I'm aware. I'm not at all surprised that they murdered people, or how they spun it afterward. Most of these ICE recruits have been drooling over the idea of doing stuff like this for years.

If they'd stuck to core duties like enforcing customs laws (this has a purpose! some things really aren't safe to import) that would have been great. Now they're basically the gestapo, and they need to go.

I would agree. Many are disappointingly behind the times.

I'm guessing one of his big secret sponsors threatening to yank their funding led to this sudden change of heart.

You're not wrong. We have far too much "making peace" and sternly worded letters, and far too little making policy and passing laws.
