Had a lovely second year in a row at the #achristieforchristmas event. A great event once again, if a tad chilly to get to... And finally got to briefly meet @markaldridge.info for the bonus!

Took a trip yesterday to see this little gem. Could have lost the Geographer's Guild song if I'm honest but otherwise this bear has been incredibly well looked after. Well done all! (Yes, I cheered. Yes, I cried. Yes, I'm 48.) #paddingtonmusical #savoytheatre

Okay. So... Doctor Who meets Desmonds. I did feel it dragged a bit in the middle but on the whole I liked it. It was different and told a very different story. (Obvs a very white person perspective here, so apologies for that.)

Well, Happy Easter to those of you that celebrate it. I however think religion can fuck the fuck off - not least because it's caused a minor inconvenience to my life as our local supermarkets are shut because apparently they don't want to make money today.

Forgot Doctor Who was out today. Could definitely have seen more of Max Parker. Almost all of him in fact...

Watching Question Time. Dear God Mims Davies is awful. She just used the words "Brexit Dividend" FFS.

Okay, gang. In the grand scheme of things, how helpful is it to just repeatedly slam your head into a flat surface? I only ask as I have elderly family members and it is - frankly - them or me.

Sorry @amazonuk.bsky.social but it doesn't really count as a delivery if they can't even be bothered to ring the doorbell. So don't tell me it's been delivered when I only find out by accident!

Just had an odd experience. It seems I've been blocked by someone who - admittedly - I didn't converse with much. But I liked them and thought they liked me. It's thrown me off a bit.

Dear Christ... Could I go for one week without one single family crisis, home crisis, financial crisis, illness or so on? 2025 is really getting on my nerves so far.

Another call (on a Sunday FFS) from someone trying to sell me website design services and advice on AI functions I could add to it. For one thing, the website's minimal because I'm not that important and I FUCKING LOATHE AI SO JUST PISS OFF. (Obviously I was kinder in my response, but blimey...)

It's kind of weird, I'm watching Kuenssberg and listening to Frazer Nelson and I'm not really listening to what he's saying: I'm simply trying to pin down his accent. It's an odd mix of Scottish and RP and weirdly sounds like an American doing one of both.

Watching Thursday's Question Time. It's rare I wanted to hear more from Nadine Dorries than this guy Liam Halligan. Who the hell is he?

The Muskrat does seems to be regularly described as the world's richest man, but does he actually have any liquidity? If it's just a number does it *really* mean anything? Genuinely interested. Because he just seems to come across as an self-interested twat without that appellation.

I have purchased the Band Aid single. Because poverty relief is something that sadly needs to be an ongoing thing.

But because I'm a petty little bitch it was Band Aid II that I purchased (and not for the first time; besides, the charity still gets the money after all).

I mean, I love my Cons, and I'm very happy that my replacement navy blue ones arrived a day early so I don't end up with soggy feet over the next few days, but is it too much to ask @converse.bsky.social that they arrive fully laced? Just pay the slave labour a little more to finish the job, please!

Had a new email from @taskrabbit.bsky.social urging me not to do any mounting myself, but to book an appointment for a mounting from them. As Sterling Archer would say...

My haul from the #AChristieforChristmas event the other night. Still basking in the afterglow and feeling a little bit festive *way* too early... but I'll take it.
