My 4yo and I used to love taking Sunday naps together. She still does, but she also loves talking, jumping, and touching my face while I’m trying to sleep. So I’m ending it. She’s damn near having a panic attack.

What if, instead of reading the Bible as humanity learning to be (and failing) faithful to God we viewed it as God learning how to parent Their children? Like God trying and “failing” to teach, lead, guide Their children but never giving up?

As a person who used to be(and by some standards might still be) skinny, the day my thighs started wearing out and my back pockets spread out was a HAPPY DAY!!

Whenever I have to do our preschooler’s bedtime I *hate* my husband…he has spoiled this girl by staying in the room until she falls asleep. So I hard work I did I get her accustomed to the fact that I leave goes out the window…
