Please don't post this kind of language. I just imagined in my brain that several of those words are different words and it's actually very fucked up

You post like a failed clone of Elon, which is almost as embarrassing as Elon himself. Just stop with the lib-centrist shit and have an ounce of conviction in the policies you built your whole platform upon. You are only giving hate broader reach when you are under no obligation to do so.

Like, I think most viewers would be okay with subtitles not always being super crisp for the sake of the convenience of watching on something other than a PC. Or at least they could provide text-based subs as an alternative. This just doesn't seem like the best thing for viewers
lettererbrendo.bsky.social
Could they not get image-based subtitles to work on lower-end devices instead of re-encoding? I can understand ASS not working on like an iPhone or a smart TV but something similar to PGS or VOB maybe? At the very least they could get sign subs at the top of the frame if it must be text-based.

I have added fifty new movies to the Plex server; every Dexter series has also been added--I will continue to procrastinate watching it for years to come. I've finished replaying Peace Walker and am now replaying MGSV. I'm watching Twin Peaks again.

This has been an Autism Announcement. Thank you!

Not only does Madeleine flawlessly recreate the translated English text into 3D blocks, but they also have the text interacting with Mifuyu as well!

If you are, random example here, a publisher who had a quick reaction to some online posts and fired one of your employees for it, or canceled their book, or whatever, again, random example, you probably should have been aware this was part of a bad faith concerted effort www.cnn.com/2025/09/13/b...

Dozens of social media posts and messages about the murder of Charlie Kirk, including some that celebrated his death, are being spotlighted by conservative activists, Republican elected officials and ...

But Gretchen Felker-Martin's first Red Hood issue gets recalled, and the rest of the run pulped, because she

no matter your politics it’s disrespectful to joke about someone’s death. don’t say charlie kirk died from a grand piano falling on his head and his mouth turned into piano keys and then a flower pot fell on his dick and it honked like a bike horn. don’t say stuff like that

This isn't to say shooting a dude in the neck is a good thing, but the amount of people now turning around like "Nooo that is SO uncalled for and we should show some empathy!" like the dude wasn't celebrating and trying to justify the murder of the marginalized regularly is dumb as shit.
lettererbrendo.bsky.social
Not to get erm political but it is incredible how many people will immediately turn around from "the only good fascist is a dead one" the moment it really happens. Have some fucking conviction. Racist mass shooters cite a guy as an inspiration and now I'm supposed to feel sorry for him? Shut up.

All that's doing is wasting the precious time you could have known them more, could have showed that you actually cared as much as you felt. Matt was a fantastic person. Don't take fantastic people you know for granted. You don't know when it will be too late.

and then try and chat with him again. Sorry for rambling about this. If you ever want to talk to someone, if you care about someone, just do it. Don't hold yourself back because you feel like you don't deserve to talk to your friend, or because you worry you're going to take away from their time.

I wish I'd gotten over those feelings, could more easily accept that when he said there were no hard feelings then that means I shouldn't hold myself to my mistakes so much. When he posted about his hospitalization, he seemed certain things would pass. I told myself I'll let him recover first
lettererbrendo.bsky.social
It's been two or three years since I last talked to him, because I felt bad about how I fumbled a project on him, and he always seemed so busy. He didn't hold anything against me, he said he'd like to work with me again. I kept thinking "I'll message him again soon" and forgot how long it'd been.

I think it's fair to say most people who got into the English manga industry in the last decade can say Matt was a part of their journey, that they wouldn't be quite where they are now without his influence, even if they only encountered him briefly.
lettererbrendo.bsky.social
You'd be hard pressed to find anyone Matt didn't impact, even if indirectly. Everyone knew Matt, and if you didn't you knew at least ten people that did, and he was a big part of many people getting where they are now.

Matt was an incredible force and a wonderful friend. Love him so much. Incredibly grateful I was able to work with him and be his friend.

I think very few people had such a love for manga, such a passion to see things be more accessible--even if they hadn't found an audience yet--that Matt had. To potentially allow more people feel the excitement he felt, even if just a few, despite how difficult it could be.

Matt was a real one, legendary dude. I wish I'd spoken to him more, done more with him, let him know how much I respected him and everything he'd done--I don't think I ever got it across to him like I wish I had.
